    The activities in Meditop's symposium "The Challenge in Using HbA1c in the patients with hemoglobin variants" in 43rd AMTT Annual Meeting 2019, on 29 May 2019  at Ambassador City Jomtien Hotel, Chonburi.

    Dr. Natthakarn Suwansaksri from Internal Medicine Department, Khon Kaen Hospital, Ms.Manthana Mitchai from Medical Molecular Biology Center, Khon Kaen Hospital and Mr.Shawn Cheong, Regional Marketing Manager, Asia Pacific, SEBIA, France were co-speakers. There were a lot of Medical Technologists from both government segtor and private segtor in this symposium. Dr. Natthakarn Suwansaksri talked about the case problem and the ADA criteria for using HbA1c as the diagnosis tool for diabetes mellitus patient and the clinical pracice guideline for diabetes 2017 by Diabetes Association of Thailand. Ms.Manthana Mitchai talked about the principle of HbA1c measurement and Mr.Shawn Cheong talked about the unique benefits on HbA1c measurement by capillary electrophoresis.
