Acadamic Conference "Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery"

Meditop Company by Cardiovascular Division (CVD) and the Department of Surgery, Thammasat University Hospital organized the acadamic conference "Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery" during September 27th- 28th, 2014, 9.00-17.00Hrs.

Venue: Conference Room, 4th Floor, Kittiwattana Building and the operation room (OR) at Thammasat University Hospital.

For the conference, Prof. Borut Gersak, Head of the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery University Medical Center, Ljubljana, Slovenia was invited to be our speaker and proctor. There were 3 live cases demonstration by Aortic Valve Replacement - Mini-Sternotomy technique and implanted the sutureless heart valve model Perceval S, product of Sorin from Italy.

For the event, Asst. Prof. Weerayut Thowprasert, MD presided over the meeting. Asst. Prof. Boonlawat Homvises, MD was the case presenter. The team of Cariovascular Thoracic Surgeons for Department of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Thammasat Unversity as well as nurses, technicians and many medical students from TU hosptial were attended.
